Where does time go?

Hello FotoPals! Do you ever wonder how time flies by so quickly? It's almost the end of 2022. As I sit here reflecting on 2022, it's apparent that I have gotten behind in some of my own photo organization! So, I decided if I write about my goals somewhere - I will be more likely to achieve them. And if you are one of MyFotoPal friends, then feel free to ask me how these goals are going.

My 2023 Goals:

1. Get photos organized for an upcoming Graduation Party - easy to do with digital photos, but I know I have several lurking out there that are no digital. I need to seek out all photos - even getting some back from my parents to digitize!

2. Scan all photo albums. My in-laws passed away over 8 years ago, yet we have boxes and boxes of their albums sitting in our basement. It's time. The tough task will be determine which ones to keep, but that can be my husbands job.

3. Keep making FotoPals. This year has allowed me to work with many people on many different projects. Creating things for MyFotoPals brings me joy. That sounds odd I'm sure, but when create something, see a finished project, and deliver it to someone and see their joy, it makes me cherish what I do even more. Most recently our son saw me working on a photo memorial for someone who passed away over the holidays. His immediate reaction was "how sad". And it is terribly sad, but if I can take a little stress off someone during this tragic and difficult time, I'm hopeful it makes my new FotoPal breathe a little easier.

4. Keep getting organized. My goal for this past year was to have everyone in our family share photos to a common place. It's working - albeit slowly. I would say it's a work in progress - but I think the end result will be lovely. Once it becomes habit, we will have a safe place to keep all photos from here on out. We have a ways to go, but I know we will continue to add to this HUGE place and in the end it will be treasured, possibly for generations to come.
