Spring is coming to Minnesota! It's been a unique and challenging couple of years. I have been busy with life and some great projects here and there with MyFotoPal. But knowing Spring is here - it's time to encourage my Foto Friends to do some Spring Cleaning of your photos!

How many of you have found yourself surfing the web more, watching more Netflix or Amazon Prime the last two years? While these options are mentally productive at times #lifebreak, I find that I could be doing something more productive - or possibly watching a show and doing some photo cleanup!

I have decided that for one hour per day for the next month, I will work on photo cleanup. I've been working through all of my digital collection. I started with all of my photos on iCloud, and now have been working through all of the backup hard drives. While I am cleaning up, I have also been working hard to organize them all into folders so I can just speak out what I need right away! These can be trip folders, family folders (specifically one per person if you want!), friend events, pets, volunteer events, you name it!

While the process of deleting and organizing is very painstaking, the end result will be greatly appreciated. Once you have it all done, then try to dedicate an hour per week to keep it up. It's amazing what you can accomplish in one hour if you really focus on it. Yes, I do use a timer as sometimes it gets mundane, but that's the point. Once you have gone through all of them, it won't be a chore to be completed anymore. #Winning!

Spread the word - it's time to clean up! Clean up, Clean up, Everybody, Everywhere, Clean Up, Cleanup, Every Photo Everywhere (sang to the tune our ECFE teachers engrained in our brains when our kids were little).

Happy Spring to all of you! I am hopeful that your spring cleaning involves some photo cleanup and organization as well! Let me know if MyFotoPal can help you!

I have lots of backup drives - these are just a few. I also back up to the Cloud depending on the device. Please make sure you are backing up your photos somewhere - anywhere - on a routine basis! :)
